Travel - Bus Service from Downtown Hotels
Bus service will be available at specific times during the Biennial Meeting to facilitate attendance by participants staying at the Roberts Riverwalk Hotel, Hilton Garden Inn and the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in downtown Detroit. NOTE: Do not assume there will be room if you plan take the last bus. Please plan to take the earliest bus that meets your needs. Also note that on Wednesday morning, the “Special Workshop: Assessment of Progress Since 1987” runs from 9:00 am to 11:15 am. There will be a limited number of lunch boxes available for purchase after the workshop. The Joint Great Lakes Session starts at 1 pm, with the Great Lakes Town Hall starting at 4 pm and expected to conclude by 6:30 pm.
On Wednesday evening, buses will be available to return participants from the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) to their hotels. Buses will begin leaving the DIA at 15 minute intervals, starting at 7:45, with the last buses scheduled to depart at 9 pm.
